The annual Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race was held Saturday in Bangor, Maine, featuring a 5-mile course from Kenduskeag to Bangor. A total of 441 crafts and 881 participants took part in the event.
Trevor MacLean of Nova Scotia posted the fastest time of 2:11.49, claiming his 20th victory in the race. The course included challenging portages at Six Mile Falls, Flour Mill, and Maxfield Dam.
The race, organized by Bangor Parks and Recreation, is a longstanding local tradition with results and photos available online.
