Communities across the Inland Empire will honor Juneteenth with a series of free events from June 13–20, 2026. Juneteenth, a federal holiday since 2021, marks the end of slavery in the U.S.
on June 19, 1865. - Pomona Valley Juneteenth Family Jazz & Arts Festival (June 20, Ganesha Park) – 36th annual, jazz, gospel, R&B, multicultural food, Black history exhibit.
- Riverside’s Juneteenth Celebration (June 13, Fairmount Park) – sixth annual, vendors, music, hosted by B.L.A.C.K. Collective.
- San Bernardino Valley College event (June 17, Greek Theatre lawn) – live music, guest speakers, vendors, food. - Lake Elsinore Diamond celebration (June 19) – second annual, live DJ, face painting, vendors; $8, kids under 12 free.
- Moreno Valley Culture Days (June 13, Sam Hicks Monument Park) – free, family-friendly. - Redlands Juneteenth Jam (June 19, Fergusson Park) – live music, food, film, skatepark takeover, three-point shootout.
- San Bernardino’s ninth annual celebration (June 20, Sylvan Park) – performances, kids’ zone, crafts. - Pomona’s Black Voices of the Valley event (June 19, Mary Henley Park) – artisans, food vendors, DJ.
- Riverside’s Civil Rights Institute event (June 19) – music, kids’ crafts, scavenger hunt. These events offer music, food, education, and community bonding, honoring the historic end of slavery while celebrating African American culture.
