Iran-Linked Hackers Claim FBI Drone Breach, Threaten World Cup Security

An Iran-linked hacker group, Handala, claims to have breached FBI drones and threatened the 2026 World Cup. The SITE Intelligence Group reported the claim on Friday.

Handala said it had access to images and suspects captured by FBI FPV drones for months. The group warned World Cup security, referencing drones near team buses.

The FBI is deploying drones at stadiums, and drone flights are banned. The Justice Department had previously warned of Iranian cyberattacks after U.S.-Israeli strikes on Tehran in February.
