The San Diego County Fair in Del Mar offers numerous ways to save money on tickets, food, and rides. Opening day (June 10) features $5 admission before 5 p.m.
Regular tickets range from $17 to $22, with online purchases saving $3–$5 and Ralphs/Albertsons shoppers saving $8.50. Kids under 12 enter free on Fridays, and discounts apply for service members, law enforcement, medical personnel, and teachers.
Ride wristbands cost $55 for unlimited rides on Wednesdays or Thursdays, with an extra $5 off if bought online before opening day. About 40 food stands offer $15 value meals (entree, side, drink), and a $5 Passport to Savings book provides over $1,000 in vendor discounts.
Katie Mueller, COO of the Del Mar Fairgrounds, emphasizes that savings are available for those who seek them.
