Gang Member Indicted in 2024 Monterey County Killings

A 21-year-old Greenfield man has been indicted for his role in a 2024 crime spree that left six dead at a King City birthday party. - Manuel Galindo Rodriguez was indicted by a Monterey County grand jury on May 22, 2026.

- He is accused of participating in car thefts, a robbery at a Salinas sporting goods store, and the murders of two cousins and six partygoers. - Rodriguez joins three co-defendants already charged; he was previously serving time for other offenses.

- Arraignment is scheduled for May 26 in Monterey County Superior Court.
