Governor Newsom announced $111 million in Proposition 1 funding for six new affordable housing communities across California, including one in Fresno County. - The funding creates 307 new permanent supportive homes for veterans and people with behavioral health needs.

- Homekey+ has now created 50 supportive housing projects with 2,471 affordable homes statewide. - This investment follows a 9% reduction in unsheltered homelessness in California last year.

The new communities aim to break cycles of homelessness with urgency and accountability.
