The John C. Fremont Healthcare District Board appointed two interim members on May 20, 2026.
- Jon Wurl, a Mariposa County resident, helped with the Measure O campaign for a new hospital. - Rob Fox stepped down from the JCF Hospital Foundation board to join the district board.
- Fox brings engineering and project management expertise for the new hospital construction. - Both positions are interim through end of 2026, with elections in November.
The appointments support the district's efforts to build a seismically compliant hospital by 2030.
