Berkeley's Parks, Recreation, and Waterfront Department is hosting free outdoor movie nights in parks across the city from June to August 2026. - Screenings take place on select Friday evenings at 8:00–8:40 pm.
- Films include Wicked: For Good, The Color Purple, Jurassic World Rebirth, Smurfs, GOAT, Super Mario Galaxy, and The SpongeBob Movie: The Search for SquarePants. - Attendees should bring blankets, sleeping bags, or low beach chairs (9 inches or lower); dogs on leashes are welcome, but alcohol is not permitted.
- For accessibility questions, contact Joaquim Lee at least two days before the screening. The series kicks off June 12 at Strawberry Creek Park and runs through August 21 at Codornices Park.
Arrive 30 minutes early for best seating.
