Former Businessman Charged with Murder of Attorney and Ex-Employee After Legal Defeats

A former businessman has been charged with two counts of murder for allegedly orchestrating the killings of a lawyer and a former employee after losing lawsuits to them. - Richard Wall Sr., 72, is accused of arranging the murders of attorney Jeffrey Tidus in 2009 and ex-employee Juan Mendez in 2011.

- Tidus was shot outside his Rolling Hills Estates home after winning a $1.7 million settlement; Mendez was killed in front of his children in Whittier after winning a $300,000 overtime judgment. - Wall was extradited from Montenegro, where he had fled during the investigation, and faces life in prison if convicted.
