The East Bay Athletic League (EBAL) had a strong showing at the CIF State Swimming and Diving Championships. - McKinley Scobie (Foothill) won the girls' 200 freestyle and placed second in the 100 free.
- Tim Wu (Dougherty Valley) won the boys' 200 individual medley. - San Ramon Valley's girls' 200 medley and 400 free relays both finished third.
- Granada's Brooke Bennett placed seventh in the 200 IM and third in the 500 free. The championships highlighted EBAL's depth in California high school swimming.
