Dog Trainer Convicted in Deaths of 11 Dogs in Irvine

A jury in Orange County convicted dog trainer Kwong 'Tony' Chun Sit of animal cruelty and abuse for the deaths of 11 dogs in Irvine. Tingfeng Liu was found guilty of being an accessory.

- The dogs died in June 2025; eight suffered heat stroke, one from blunt-force trauma. - Sit and Liu attempted to dispose of the bodies by dropping them at crematoriums.

- Sit faces over 13 years in prison; Liu is expected to be released for time served. Sentencing is set for July 10.
