The Kern County Coroner's Office has identified one of two men killed in a shooting in east Bakersfield. - The victim is Marcelino Rodriguez, 61, of Bakersfield.
- The shooting occurred on May 25, 2026, at around 10:15 p.m. on the 5700 block of Eucalyptus Drive.
- Deputies found two men dead at the scene; Rodriguez died from a gunshot wound. - The second victim's identity remains undisclosed.
Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Kern County Sheriff's Office or Kern Secret Witness.
