Chris Richards returns to full practice with US World Cup team in Irvine

Chris Richards, the top US defender, practiced fully with the team in Irvine for the first time since an ankle injury on May 17. He is expected to be a key contributor in the World Cup.

- Richards tore two left ankle ligaments while playing for Crystal Palace. - He missed two friendlies but was named to the 26-man World Cup roster.

- Coach Mauricio Pochettino said it's good to have nearly everyone ready. - Richards worked out alone previously but completed the full workout in front of over 5,500 fans.
