Cancer Survivors Invited to Free Bakersfield Celebration on June 2

Cancer survivors and their families are invited to a free community celebration in Bakersfield on June 2, hosted by the Comprehensive Blood and Cancer Center and Dignity Health. The event, Ignite Inspiration, takes place at CBCC (6501 Truxtun Ave.) with doors opening at 5 p.m.

and a group photo at 6:30 p.m. Activities include a hula performance, crafts, photo booths, free food and drinks, and raffle drawings.

CBCC and Dignity Health have deepened their partnership to provide more integrated care for patients. CBCC is conducting clinical trials for colorectal, pancreatic, and triple-negative breast cancers, as well as supportive trials for fatigue management.

Attendees are asked to call ahead to help organizers prepare. The event is open to all, not just CBCC patients.
