Campo Wildfire Grows to 500 Acres, I-8 Closed

A wildfire named the Tusil Fire is burning on the Campo Reservation in San Diego County, growing to 500 acres with only 10% containment as of May 19, 2026. - Evacuation orders are in place for areas near the 37000 block of Tusil Road.
