A new study by outdoor brand KÜHL analyzed visitor reviews from 407 public gardens across the U.S. and ranked the best botanical gardens.

California placed two gardens in the top 10: the Arboretum and Botanical Garden at Cal State Fullerton (ranked 4th) and Sherman Library and Gardens in Corona Del Mar (ranked in the top 10). - The Arboretum at Cal State Fullerton is a 26-acre conservation site focused on rare and endangered plants, with four biomes and a historic 1894 house.

- Sherman Library and Gardens is a 2-acre oasis featuring over 100 palm species, 130 begonia varieties, a tropical conservatory, and a research library. - Tips for visiting include staying on pathways, bringing water and a hat, and considering a donation.

Super blooms may fade, but these curated gardens offer year-round horticultural beauty and education for Californians.
