California Primary Election: Voters Decide Governor and Congressional Races

Californians are voting in a primary election that will determine the candidates for governor and U.S. House seats.

The top two candidates from each race, regardless of party, will advance to the November general election. Results in close contests may take days or weeks to finalize.

Ballots postmarked by today can be counted until June 9, and the state has until July 10 to certify the results.
