Black on the Block, the traveling marketplace highlighting Black-owned businesses, returns to Los Angeles for its 5th anniversary and Juneteenth celebration on Saturday, June 12, 2026, from 1 to 7 p.m. at Los Angeles Center Studios.
- Over 100 brands from South LA, Inglewood, and surrounding communities will participate, including Sixteenth Studio, Backyard Jerk, and Red's Smokin Barbecue. - R&B singer Jacquees is scheduled to perform live at the event.
- Founded by sister duo Lanie and Char Edwards, the marketplace has expanded to cities like Dallas, Houston, Washington D.C., Chicago, Charlotte, and Atlanta. - The marketplace drove more than $4 million to Black entrepreneurs in 2025 alone.
The event celebrates five years of boosting visibility and economic opportunity for Black-owned businesses in LA and beyond.
