A new poll shows Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass leading the mayoral primary with 30% support, but not enough to avoid a runoff. Spencer Pratt and Nithya Raman are statistically tied for second place at 22% and 20% respectively.
- Bass leads among women (36%) and voters over 60 (47%). - Pratt leads among men (30%).
- Raman leads among voters under 40 (31%). - Undecided voters have dropped to 16%, but could still sway the outcome.
The primary is June 2, and the top two candidates advance to a November 3 runoff unless one candidate gets over 50%.
