74-Year-Old Man Charged with Three Additional Murders in Decades-Long California Killing Spree

Dwight William Rhone, a 74-year-old San Diego man, has been charged with three additional murders in cold cases spanning from 1993 to 2025. - Rhone is accused of killing Heriberto Ruiz (1993), Ronald Johnken (2002), and Michael Brown (remains found in 2025).

- He was already charged in the 2023 murder of Bernardo Moreno. - The remains of Michael Brown were discovered during a search of Rhone's former Newton Avenue home.

- Prosecutors are also seeking information about two other potential victims, Danice Galloway and Antenogenes Gomez Velasquez. The investigation is ongoing, and Rhone is being held without bail.
