A 3.6-magnitude earthquake struck near Toms Place in Mono County on June 1, 2026, with no injuries or damage reported. - The quake occurred at 1:04 a.m., 17 km west-southwest of Toms Place, at a depth of 14 km.

- USGS reported Level III intensity (weak shaking); 12 people reported feeling it, including 9 near Mammoth Lakes, 2 near Bishop, and 1 near Prather. - Over the weekend, minor quakes also hit near Susanville, The Geysers, and Covelo, all with no damage.
