136 Apartments Planned Near SAP Center in San Jose

A mid-rise apartment building with over 100 units could rise on a site near SAP Center in San Jose, according to city planning documents. The proposed development at 945 W.

Julian St. would replace a house and an office on the property.

The eight-story building would feature 136 apartments at the corner of Julian Street and Morrison Avenue in the Garden-Alameda neighborhood. A group led by Anthony Ho is behind the project, which seeks to use SB 330 provisions to expedite the city's review process.

The unit mix includes 28 studios (360 sq. ft.), 54 one-bedroom apartments (490 sq.

ft.), and 54 two-bedroom units (730 sq. ft.).

The proposal is preliminary and subject to change. The site is just under half an acre.
